January 2010
Lori Houchin assembled an amazing raffle and fundraiser, raising $750 for West Jupiter Community Group. Edna Runner, Executive Director of WJCG educated us about the organization and the council and assistance they provide to local children.
Nov/Dec 2009
Maria Haws hosted the 5th annual Holiday Wish List Program for Children's Home Society. Her passion for this event is contagious and continues to grow each year. PP was able to provide over 130 gifts for the kids of CHS in 2009.
October 2009
Over $1000 was raised for a local family impacted by cancer and one happy lady went home with a brand new 32" plasma TV! Thanks for joining us boys.
September 2009

Nearly $15,000 was raised for the Reed Family!!!
The community came together in a big way to help Julie and her family. With the assistance of the news media and many of the Reed's family & friends, there was an amazing turn out. Guanabana's Restaurant generously donated 50% of dinner entres sold that evening and a wonderful silent auction was held. Thanks to photographer Jennifer Weiss, many memories of the evening were captured.
The Reed family was extremely grateful for the generosity. . .

Jill Wenta hosted an evening at Tabica Grill for Quantum House in honor of Jack Wenta. PP collected household supplies, gift cards and raised over $250.00.
July 2009
This year Pink Purse gathered at the Square Grouper for the 4th annual event in which backpacks are filled with school supplies and delivered to local elementary schools. Together with Holding Hands, we collected nearly 50 backpacks.
June 2009
Aicardi Syndrome is an extremely rare neurological disorder affecting mostly girls. In honor of Ava Gumson, Beni Overbeck hosted an evening at Oakwood Grill with guest speaker, Lisa Gumson. Pink Purse raised $440.00 to go towards finding a cure.
May 2009
Mary Ward hosted an event for Homesafe at the I-bar in PGA. We collected household items, food, school supplies and $550.00. Homesafe provides a safe haven for abused, neglected and abandoned children.
April 2009
Mambo Nite was held at the Jupiter Civic Center on a breezy but beautiful night. Over 100 guests attended our annual guys and gals event helping us raise over $14,00.00. This event benefited Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope.

We had our kick off event this month at the Rumbar. We had a great time and reached out to the community to support our efforts. It was a great success!
February 2009
Stacy Routt hosted our event this month for the Hope Center for Autism at the clothing store- la rutaN. This is our second year to help this organization. 10% of the proceeds spent at la rutaN were donated to the organization as well as passing the pink purse. The Hope Center provides schooling and support to Autistic children and their families in our community.
